We welcome private groups for candle making classes in our studio! Schedule a private candle making class for a birthday, team building activity, staff appreciation, girls night out, or just because.
During the class, we provide instruction for making (2) 8oz soy candles with scents you mix and create yourself, a jar of matches, tips & tricks for maximizing your candle burn time, and 10% off any other products in our shop during your class time. Classes can be customized to meet your needs.

- CLASS SIZE We require a minimum of 6 people for a private class, and the maximum is 24 (we can accommodate larger groups but we’ll need to discuss).
- TIME The class typically takes 1-1.5 hours and there’s a 2–hour maximum time limit. The candles take 1-3 hours to set and most likely won’t be ready before you leave. We can deliver the candles for $10/address or you may pick them up during our normal business hours. In some cases, you may pick up later the same day.
- COST $50 per person. A $300 non-refundable deposit must be made to hold your date; the deposit goes towards the class fees for 6 people. The balance is due 48 hours prior to your class. If someone is unable to attend the class after payment has been made, they can reschedule for another class or receive in-store credit for the same amount.
- FOOD & BEVVIES We serve charcuterie boards, wine, beer, bubbly, and non-alc seltzers here in our shop for private classes. Our charcuterie boards include a mix of locally made crackers, salami, gouda, brie, balsamic fig jam, olives, mixed nuts, toffee, caramel puffs, shortbread cookies, chex mix, popcorn, and fresh seasonal fruit or dried fruit. Cost is in addition to the class.
- KIDS If you’d like to schedule a party for ages 5-17, we provide instruction for making (1) 12oz candle and tips & tricks for maximizing your burn time. This class typically takes 45 minutes. The cost is $35 per person with a minimum of 6 people. A $210 non-refundable deposit must be made to hold your date; this deposit goes towards the class fees for 6 people. The balance is due 48 hours prior to your class. If someone is unable to attend the class after payment has been made, they can reschedule for another class or receive in-store credit for the same amount. For ages 5-8, please have one adult present per child; for ages 9-17, there must be at least one adult onsite during the class. Other custom class options availabe.
