We welcome parties and groups to our private studio within our Bridgeport Village shop! It’s perfect for celebrating birthdays, team-building events, Girls’ Night Out, Craft or Book clubs, National Charity League activities, or just because. We have two types of experiences for private groups in our studio…
CANDLE BAR
We seat your group in our private studio and walk you through the steps of making a candle or a roll-on fragrance. You choose your own custom scent and if making a candle, you also choose from several candle containers. Recommended for birthday parties, especially for ages 10-17 (less candle talk and an easier process).
- Choose from over 20 candle containers in different styles and colors, ranging from $15 – $68. There are several options in the $26-$40 range. Roll-on perfume is $22. You set the budget ahead of time and we show the group the options. You pay for only the items the group makes – there’s no additional “party” or “space” charge.
- It’s 30-45 minutes (you can use the space for 2 hours).
- Minimum 6 people and up to 20 (we can do more, but need to discuss).
- Reservation required (no deposit required).
- For ages 10-17 birthday parties, you may bring in your own treats and open presents in our space. Please bring all utensils, napkins, and plates.
- For ages 10-17, we require one adult to stay with the group the entire time.
CANDLE-MAKING CLASS
This is an in-depth workshop, showing you the entire process of making candles and offering several tips and facts about clean candles. You’ll make two candles and a jar of matches. A good choice if you want to learn the basics of candle making or want a group setting where everyone stays together in the process for a shared experience.
- You make (2) 8oz candles in plain glass jars and a jar of matches. You wick your candle jars, blend custom scents, set your wicks, and make custom labels for the candles.
- It’s 60-90 minutes (you can use the space for 2 hours).
- $50pp or we can customize to fit your budget.
- Minimum 6 people and up to 20 (we can do more, but need to discuss).
- We require a non-refundable deposit of $300, which goes towards the cost of 6 participants.
- Enjoy 10% off all merchandise in our retail shop during class time (gift cards, class fees, beverages, and food excluded).

IMPORTANT DETAILS
- CANDLE SETUP TIME: With either experience, your candles should be ready to pick up within 90 minutes after you make them (roll-on fragrances are ready to go after you make them).
- CHARCUTERIE: We offer sharable charcuterie boards that include a mix of locally made crackers, salami, aged gouda, brie, balsamic fig jam, olives, mixed nuts, toffee, caramel puffs, shortbread cookies, popcorn, fresh seasonal fruit, and a cucumber-mint infused water station. Cost is additional; must be ordered 2 days prior to your event.
- BEVERAGES: We have Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Bubbly for $9/glass; beer is $4/glass. Please note that not all employees are old enough to legally serve alcohol, so there may be times when we cannot serve your group. If this is important to you, please verify that someone 18+ will be available to serve your group.
- PRIVATE STUDIO: Your group will be seated at your own table within a private area of our studio, but our CANDLE BAR and RETAIL area are open to other customers during your event.
